I am thrilled that you made the decision to invest in yourself and RENEW in 2016!! I am excited to get started with you! I appreciate that it takes courage and commitment to change your diet and lifestyle…and I am rooting for you!

While you are waiting for the program to start, here are a few things you can start working on right away:

Start counting how many ounces of water you are drinking each day. Drinking plenty of water is important for many reasons, and especially to help flush out toxins! Go for at least ½ ounce of water per pound of body weight. Have fun and add cucumber slices, mint leaves, or lemon wedges to your water for some added taste!

Take note if you feel better in some environments and worse in others. For example, do you feel fatigued and foggy brained at home and better when you are away from your home for several days? Or do you get recurring headaches at work? Take note if you have become sensitive to certain smells, like perfume or cleaning products. If so, when did it begin? Write this down in a journal.

When you go grocery shopping, observe what percentage of foods you buy from the perimeter of the grocery store (produce, meats, eggs, etc) and how many foods you buy from the middle aisles. How many foods in the middle aisles have ingredients you don’t recognize or are in cans or plastic containers?
